    About our Presentation:
In July of 2013, Illinois became the last state to pass a concealed carry law. The law has broad ramifications for employers and specifically for Human Resource professionals. Think about the following situations:

    • Is concealed carry permitted in the workplace?  Does it apply to all workplaces or are there exceptions?  Under what circumstances can an employer prohibit it?
    • Does the law affect any employment policies that should be updated?
Attend our upcoming HRI where Sonal Shah, JD, and labor/employment counsel for the Management Association, will address employers’ rights, requirements and concerns about the concealed carry law and help you plan for situations that may arise in your workplace regarding firearms and potential violence.
