    Aurora University's Nonprofit Leadership Institute Speaker Series allows professionals to learn about the latest developments in nonprofit leadership and network with other industry peers. The speaker series is offered bi-monthly at the AU Orchard Center and presents emerging and relevant topics through experienced nonprofit leaders.

    As nonprofits look to leading their organizations into 2017 and beyond, it is important to recognize that change is certain and to survive, organizations will need to adapt to new and innovative fundraising techniques to attract donors and engage society as a whole. What does the future hold for nonprofits and fundraising? Whether you are a board member, a passionate volunteer or a dedicated nonprofit executive, join us for an interactive discussion about the giving trends in Illinois and learn about the new and different fundraising tools, as well as what hasn't changed.
     
    About our Speaker: Susan Mennenga, MPA CFRE
    Susan Mennenga is a passionate nonprofit executive with an expertise in fundraising and she has been an adjunct faculty member since 2012. She received her undergraduate degree from DePaul University in marketing and healthcare promotion. Furthering her studies, Mennenga completed a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Illinois at Chicago with an emphasis in nonprofit management. When not in the classroom, she serves as a project manager for the Pritzker Military Museum & Library in Chicago. Her current assignment is serving as the WWI Centennial Commission liaison where she is responsible for the commemorative efforts of eleven Midwest states in the commemoration of the Great War.
