AU Woodstock Center Bilingual/ESL Endorsement Information Session

Join us to learn more about the Bilingual/ESL Endorsement Program scheduled to begin the week of January 11, 2016, at AU Woodstock Center.

The Bilingual/ESL Endorsement Program will improve and enhance your knowledge and skills to better meet the linguistic and academic needs of English Language Learners (ELLs). 

The 18 credit program meets the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) requirements for both the Bilingual Endorsement and ESL Endorsement, including the necessary 100 clock hours. You do not need to speak another language to attain your ESL Endorsement.  If you speak another language, to attain your Bilingual Endorsement you must pass a Target Language Proficiency Test.

The program consists of 6 classes in a blended delivery model, which will allow you time to meet face-to-face with instructors and colleagues while affording you the opportunity to conduct research and collaborate via digital and online media.
