The Aurora University Family Discount is awarded to full-time, undergraduate students who have an immediate family member concurrently enrolled full-time at Aurora University. The Family Discount is $500 per year and is awarded to each qualifying family member. Eligible relationships include biological or legal relations, such as sibling/step-sibling, spouse, parent/stepparent, or child/stepchild. The discount is renewable for up to four years, pending Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) and full-time enrollment. Please note: This discount does not apply to students enrolled in Cohort, Degree Completion, Graduate, AU Online, and University Center at McHenry County College programs. It also does not apply to students who are pursuing a second bachelor's degree. However, students enrolled in a Cohort, Degree Completion, Graduate, AU Online, or second bachelor’s degree program can qualify a family member enrolled in a traditional undergraduate program for the Family Discount provided both students are enrolled full-time. In addition, scholarship and additional gift assistance, such as need-based grants, cannot exceed the overall cost of tuition. If you are awarded need-based monies, your aid will be reduced by any amount over the actual cost of your education at AU.You only need to submit this form once, and there’s no need to fill it out again for family members who are already attending. Once it’s approved, it will be added to everyone's financial aid offer letter.
